I really need to get the second set of car seats to move DS out of the infant carrier. DD is currently in a Britax Marathon and Boulevard depending on the car. She's forward facing, weighs 31 lbs and will be 3 in March. Do you think she is too young to move to a Britax Frontier type car seat or would you buy a second set of convertible car seats? I would rather do the former - then she would have a cup holder and the seats would be last longer, but since we want to have more children, we'll always be in need of lots of car seats.

Re: For those who have had two under two, the car seat exchange...
DDs are 25 months apart. We moved DD1 to the Britax Frontier this summer, a few months before she turned 3 (also bc DD2 needed to move out of the carrier). I think as long your DD meets the weight/height requirements for the Frontier (or whatever your choose) it's fine. There was no way that I was buying a second set of convertible car seats just for a short period of time.
