Which would you go to today? Time/line length shouldn't be an issue because we're planning to go this morning. Also, what are the prices like? I haven't had to pay for a Santa photo for Luke yet, and I have no idea what to expect.
I love the Lakeline Santa. He's very nice, and he's the same one they've had for years. He's always so good with Steven and he looks super real. I don't remember prices, but I know they also let you take your own (or they have in the past, in addition to buying a few of their prints). I do think it's kinda $$ though.
I've never been to the Domain Santa, but ditto bride on the Lakeline Santa. He's great. I'd probably go there just so i don't have to stand in line outside. My luck i'd show up right as he was going on break and have to wait in the cold.
I think from last year the cheapest package, i think it's 2 5x7's, is about $20.
We had a good experience w/ the Lakeline Santa last year...we went on a weeknight and the wait was about 45 minutes or so. I think it was about $25 or so for a digital copy of one or two images. Ditto bride, you can take your own pictures in addition to that.
If you're in town next Wed, you can always come to see our Santa...I have the date right this time.
We just went to the Lakeline Santa yesterday morning about 10:30 am. We were one of about three there. The people running it weren't very organized and so it took longer than it should have. The Santa was GREAT. Very nice and sweet and looked totally authentic. The cheapest package was two 5x7's and that was $23. If you wanted digital images you had to add the CD, which was $12.99 and included up to 3 images. Highway robbery.
Thanks for the input y'all! Balihai, I think we're going to end up going with you next week. Turns out our repair guy who I thought was coming tomorrow will be here this morning. Good thing I didn't get a move on early, huh? We were thinking of going today because I need to make a Costco trip and we'd be in the Domain area anyway.
A friend of mine just did the Domain Santa yesterday and she said it was awesome. Only one other family there, cute area, etc. Cost was $10 per digital picture. She did say that it's closed down from 5-6 pm so that Santa can eat. ;-)
We've done both and loved the Domain Santa last year.
obviously I don't know if they are the same dudes this year so this is sorta pointless, but there were hardly people at the domain last year b/c it was in an empty store and people didn't even know Santa was there!
