T&P needed-headed to a job interview!

I'm so nervous! It's for an elementary intervention teacher. I just hope they don't think why hire her if she will be leaving for maternity! I know it's illegal to discriminate but I can't help but think it! So nervous!!!!! I'm also struggling with do I want to work or be a SAHM?! Ahhh!

    Good luck!

    I understand that struggle. DH and I have decided I will stay home with LO for the 1st year and then revisit the issue. I have always been a "career" woman -so this is a change for me. It sounds corny to say "follow your heart" but thats what I did. I knew it was more important for me to be with LO through some of those magical 1st year moments.

    When I was waiting I was thinking that if I don't get it then I'm meant to stay home with our LO :) I think the interview went well. I'll find out next week.

    Glad the interview went well!  Looking forward to hearing the result!

    FWIW, I just got hired and they were fully aware of the pregnancy.

    Good luck and I'm sure whatever is supposed to happen for the benefit of your family, will!

    I also just got hired and they knew I was pregnant as well.  Today was my first day and my supervisor, who was also my interviewer and the sole decider that I got the job, mentioned that part of why I got it was because I was honest enough to tell her about my pregnancy during the interview.  Mind you, I only told her after I had established a good rapport and was pretty sure that she would be ok with it.  It was soooo nice to get the job and then hear that part of it was my honesty!  GL!!
