I go see my OB AGAIN on Monday (kill me now) and I have a Christmas card of DD for him. I thought about throwing a gift card in there to a local restaurant, so maybe him and his family could have a nice meal. Is that weird? I don't want to be akward, but he has gone above and beyond so many times for me and I want to show him how much I appreciate it. But, I don't want to be a wacky patient either.
TIA for your opinions.
Re: Christmas card to the OB?
He's hot right?? Maybe he'll take you out to dinner (in a sexy dream, of course
I would totally do it. I'm super close with my OB and have known her since I was 5. After delivery I sent lunch for everyone in their office.
Thanks for reminding me - I need to send her a card and a pic of JT!! Totally slipped my mind to include her.
Yes, he is super hot which is originally why I kept going to him. Then he became such an awesome doctor, so thats why i make the 45 minute drive to his office and hour drive to the hospital. I guess I will think it over. Money is not exactly pouring from the facets these days, but I would like to show how grateful I am.
I am making mini loaves of banana bread for everyone in the office, maybe I will make a full loaf and put it on a nice plate for him and his family with the card.
I think this is a really nice idea. Since you have a good relationship with you OB I think that the card with yummy baked goods is always a yes!
I think this is a really good idea!
Great idea!
I would go with the homemade food. Banana bread sounds amazing! You could include a card with Whitney's picture and a thank you for how much you have appreciated his support through your pregnancy and post partum.
I totally get where you are coming from. My OB's receptionist is amazing! She always worked me into any spot I wanted because she knew I was usually coming in after working a night shift. She always asks about my kids and is just so dang nice.
I brought Christmas mints and sugar cookies into my OB's office last Christmas and they loved it. Every time I've gone since they call me the cookie girl :S Their office is the same building as the kids Pedi so I always stop and say hi when we go to the Pedi as well.
