I wasn't going to post anything, but I really need your support and I know that you ladies understand. I got a BFP today, I am 12 dpo. I actually got a + on a FRER, but then a "not pregnant" on a clear clue easy digital. I called my RE and they had me come in this afternoon. I happened off sick today because I had a fever, chills and was achy yesterday.
Anyway, my beta came back at only 7.8
7.8 - I can't even believe it was that low. I don't even know how it showed up on the HPT at all. My boobs were very, very sore and puffy last night and that made me think I *might* be pregnant. Today, they are not sore at all. So this looks like it may very well be loss # 5, my 4th c/p. I don't even know what to think right now. I go back in Thursday morning for a repeat beta.
I just can't imagine that all of my eggs are bad. My FSH wasn't that high last it was checked - it's been 10 and it's been 8, my AMH is low, but not completely gone yet. I just don't understand. Beyond the losses I also have my failed 1st IVF (only 1 embie made it to transfer) and then from IVF # 2 - 4 embies that didn't make it (I had 5 - 3 were implanted, only 1 stuck and I had the c/p and the other two didn't make it to freeze).
So when you add that all together that's 9 embryos that haven't made it so far. Plus, it looks like this one too. I know, there are people that start out with crazy low betas and they go up. And I guess everyone's beta starts out low at some point, there is always a beginning. I know it could happen, but really what are the chances? Not great.
I'm just not sure where to go from here or what to do. I just can't stand this anymore and I am starting to feel like it may really never, ever happen for DH and I.

I am so sorry you're going through this right now. I don't want to be the 'false hope girl', but I have seen women with extremely low betas on 3T and pGal who've had successful pregnancies- I have my Fx for you that you belong to that group.

I'm so sorry. I really hope its not another c/p. FWIW with my last pregnancy I got a postive on a FRER at 11dpo. My betas at 12dpo were also only a 7! I was scared to death too. I think I got a positive digi at 13 dpo (but maybe 14). My betas were 12dpo:7, 14dpo: 32 and 18dpo:203. So they were still doubling fine. My pregnancy ended in an ectopic but I'm just hoping to provide a bit of hope that just because FRER picked up a low number does NOT mean that you are definitely having a loss. There are a few women on PgAL who have also had really low numbers and have gone on to have healthy pregnancies.
