    I'm going with the sealy mattress, runs for $199. I considered a high density foam mattress (lighter in weight), but decided against it since my crib will convert to a toddler and full bed.

    We got a Colgate mattress. The SIDS prevention website recommends them and several of my Mommy friends recommended that brand as well
