 Baby Names always has good train wrecks.  Love how she gets all defensive about people thinking she's an idiot.

    Oh my!!! And I thought my cousin's step-daughter naming her baby girl Pistol was bad.  Seriously, she named the baby Pistol Leigh.

    Ha! You posted it before I got to it. I was cracking up over that thread. I'm a big Trekkie; when I saw the title of the post, I figured someone was reporting a bad name. Dang - maybe it's generational, but I've seen the Trouble with Tribble episodes dozens of times, y'know, back when William Shatner wore a girdle to keep his boyish figure in those tight suits.

    And I still don't think she gets that just because one person names their kid something random, doesn't make it a name. Just look at Marijuana Pepsi, real person, bad, made up name.

    There was supposedly a girl in our town called this! Her mother named her after her two favorite things. I heard her name was Marijuana Pepsi-Cola though and she was called Mary...

    It is possible it is not true, but my nephew told me about this girl in the ealry 80's and I remembered it.....Maybe it was a joke making the rounds?

    No, sadly it's not made up, I've actually read a newspaper article about her. She's an educator.
