Let me start by saying... I'm a science teacher... I like to stick with the facts!

When does the 3rd trimester start OFFICIALLY because if I read one more disagreeing resource I might freak out!

40 weeks / 3 = 13weeks and 3.3 days per trimester.

ETA: So basically 26 and 6, to answer your question.

Good question, I wished I had asked my dr yesterday. But I dont know if I'd go by what he said because he considers 2nd tri 15 weeks. Thats hoo-ey.

I asked this question a while back and I believe most people told me 28 weeks. I remember being surprised. I thought it would be 26.6 since 2nd is 13.3

I'm pretty sure it's 28 weeks, but people keep changing stuff on me so who knows anymore.

I agree with this, or rounding it to 27 wks, but 28 wks doesn't make sense to me.
