Anybody want to help me shop for a dress?

I can't find a dress I like for DH's holiday party. It's cocktail attire but the girls tend to not go all out.I found one that I liked today but it's white and I'm really hesitant to wear it because I never wear white. 

I'd prefer a dark color...like black

Must be drop waist(not natural waist) because everything else makes me look pregnant. 

I'd prefer to spend less than $150 but that's proving to be hard for the ones I like. 

And most importantly ......not make me look like an old lady.

Please help.
