I think I got the job... dust

A couple months ago I asked for advice and dust for a position opening up on the IT side of the college. I applied for the Sr level position and didn't get it. They promoted a current programmer into the Sr programmer position, made sense. Well they opened up the programmer position and I applied again. Kept it kinda quiet, didn't say much to anyone and interviewed on Monday. Just got an email from the director over there that they need a particular form and that references are being called soon. He wanted me to give them a heads up. I have a working relationship with him so he knows I may want to prepare my boss since I have some critical duties where I'm at now.

Soooo.... it looks like they will offer me the position. Could I get some dust that it goes through and that HR isn't going to be stingy with the offer. I hope to be offered the same level within the pay scale that I'm at now. It's a raise regardless.
