Anyone hoping to go on a babymoon?

I really want to escape somewhere with my husband one last time before the baby comes. We've always been big travellers, and while I don't see that changing when we have kids (I grew up travelling AND am a military brat so it's in my blood), I really want to be selfish and head off somewhere just the two of us. Anyone else in the same boat?

Where would you want to go?

    We really want to go somewhere. We were planning a trip before I found out I was pregnant. I'm just not sure where though. Someplace warm.

    My suggestion would be to go during 1st or 2nd Tri.  We wanted to go somewhere late time and by the 3rd tri I was so puffy/swollen and uncomfortable that I couldn't imagine doing much.  Especially since we're having summer babies.  The hotter it gets the more uncomfortable you'll be and the less you'll be wanting to be on your feet (or not near a bathroom).  Unless of course you're planning on some sort of spa/sleeping vacation!

    after realizing how much daycare will cost us i think our babymoon will be a sleepover in the living room! ooo! maybe we'll order pizza!

    When I was expecting DS my husband and I went on a babymoon to Walt Disney World. It was great fun. It was early in my second trimester. It's one of my favorite vacations that we have every taken. We're huge Disney nuts, go every year, and it just seemed like an appropriate way to celebrate. The only problem was that I came back six pounds heavier.

    Husband and I are both carriers of Delta F508, one of the many mutations that cause Cystic Fibrosis. We pray for a cure.

    We started talking about ours last night :) We love SC and the Myrtle Beach/Surfside area! So we're planning a long weekend in the spring! We do have full custody of his children but we deserve at least a long weekend alone before we have our first! I hope I have a cute little bump for my bikini ;)

    Because I teach, we'll have to go during March break or over a long weekend. I'm thinking NYC or the Florida Keys...

    Once out tax refund comes we'll see where our budget puts us. I'm hoping we can find a good deal for a few days in Hawaii. They usually have last minute deals from LA, fingers crossed!

    Ah! I love Hawaii. Which island are you heading to? I was just looking at airfare to the Big Island for March break, but it's a long trip from Toronto for just a week.

    My hubby and I went on a pre-babymoon this summer to Hawaii, but we're still planning on taking a weekend trip during the second trimester.  When we were dating, we went to Coeur d'Alene for Valentine's day and stayed in a B&B, and that was one of my favorite trips ever.  I think maybe we'll do something similar to that again... just go to a quaint town and stay in a B&B for a couple of nights.  It keeps the cost down, but still allows us to have some one on one relaxation time.

    We def are going to take a babymoon. Our 1 year wedding anniversary is in April and that will be the end of my second trimester...so perfect timing! just unsure where we are going to go !

    We were hoping that we would be taking a trip to Vegas, but with my limited time off of work... I don't think that will happen. Since we live in AK it is difficult and expensive to get out of state for a weekend. Hopefully we can take a weekend trip to the B&B up north we went to a couple years ago. That would be nice and relaxing, plus they have DELICIOUS food up there!

    We went on our pre-babymoon already to Indonesia. We had such a great time! We are talking about planning another trip in the second tri but it would definitely be less exotic. My FH just dosent seem to into it, I think because I have been so sick/moody that he can't imagine us having a good time : (

    I just got my early Christmas present last night from my DH and we're going on a babymoon--a week-long Carribbean cruise in my 2nd tri!  I can't wait!!!

    I'd love to go somewhere but don't know if we will. In the past 12 months, we've been to Vegas, Mexico, Scottsdale, D.C. (just me with my mom), San Francisco, Yosemite, and Europe, and splurged on all. I think DH just wants to stay home at this point. I'm pretty sure I could talk him into something we could drive to because he doesn't really consider that a vacation.

    My only real chance to travel is over Spring Break and since I'd want something warm, I doubt we'll go anywhere. Too crowded!

    ETA: So jealous of you ladies going to Hawaii! Little peanut has cancelled our trip we were planning with friends to the BI and Kauai. We will have to wait a while before going again, but I'm hoping to convince DH to go before the baby is mobile. DH grew up in Hawaii (mom is Hawaiian) so I know his parents would be happy to go with us and help with the baby. We normally plan our trips to HI for the same time anyway and don't mind traveling with them. They are very laid back.

    We definitely want to get away together for a week, probably in March.  We're considering Bermuda, though it might be a little early in the season for that.  Mostly we want to go somewhere that's warm and beachy (for me) and has rocks to climb/boulder (for DH)!
