DS's psychologist appt is today...

I've filled out the mountain of intial paperwork and forms. So many really invasive questions. Ugh.

I'm praying these new people can help Connor feel better. It just hurts my heart to hear my little boy say he has no purpose or value. I immediately correct it when I hear that. Yes! You do have a purpose and you mean the world to me! You're my best guy and I will never stop advocating for you.

He asked me what I wanted from the meetings. I told him I just want him to feel healthy in his heart and in his mind. Aww, it's gonna be a tough day for us. Hang in there big guy, Mama's gonna get you all the help you need.

    Mandaree, I couldn't agree more. I don't know if this is puberty kicking in but I want to get this turned around ASAP. He's 10 and going through so much. He deserves to feel and be happy and if we need therapy to get him there....I'm all about it. Thank you!

    Oh Connor....such a lucky guy to have a rock like you to help him stay positive.  I hear so many stories and I just wish every child would have the kind of support that Connor has from you.

    Good luck!!  Connor sounds like he just is an old soul who bears the weight of the world on himself.  Hope the doc is able to connect with him and that brighter days lie ahead!!
