Anyone start WCM yet?

We did yesterday (his 11 month on the button). I started with replacing 1.5 oz of BM with WCM in his oatmeal for breakfast. And then instead of water he got milk in his sippy cup at all meals yesterday. He drank about 2 oz all day out of the sippy, so a total of 3.5 oz yesterday. He was pretty receptive to the oatmeal, the sippy a little disappointed but we'll do the same again today.

Now my next problem is I don't have the heart to take away the boob so for now we nurse just the same. But I will say his appetite for solid foods was super duper big yesterday...he really ate like a little man!!

Anyone else?

    I use it in food and in a sippy sometimes. But we still nurse, and will continue for a while still. Happy 11 months!! :)

    I was planning on waiting until after her 1 year check up, but Target was out of formula so I've been buying Similac. I forgot how expensive that sh!t can get. I may start slipping some WCM in here and there to see how she does.

    our pediatrician recommended that we start at 11 months with half formula and wcm try that for 2 weeks or so then do just wcm so that when he goes for his 1 year appointment we can discuss how he has adjusted to it and if there are any problems.  So I started on 12/1 rather then 12/9 but so far things are going well with the mix.

    Not yet. I'm a SAHM and I enjoy BFing and I love the convenience and that it's free so I think I might do extended. But, we have been giving her some BM in a cup every so often to get her used to it. I haven't tried giving her a whole feeding that way (she only gets a bottle once a week at IL's and MIL refuses to let her drink from a cup).
