A kids' digital camera? Tess is super into taking pictures, but the reviews on Amazon are so mixed about both the vtech and the fisher price.

I want to get one for Evan too, so I'm interested to see what anyone has to say. He plays with DH's old blackberry and knows how to get to the camera, take pics and look at all the photos!

Reed has the FP one. He got it for Christmas last year. He likes it, but I feel like it took him until about a month ago to take a real interest in it. He got it when he was just over 2 and I don't think he truly appreciated it until recently.

Oh, and I will add that he has seen pretend ones that don't actually take pictures and he seems to like those just as much. He ran around "taking pictures" at my friend's house with her daughter's play camera and loved it even more than his real one.

C has the vtech one (got it for Christmas 2 years ago). His interest comes & goes with it, but he likes using the funny effects on the pictures he's taken & playing the games. Paul is starting to show some interest in it now & knows how to turn it on & take pictures.
