I took her in for yet another follow up appointent with her pediatritcian yesterday. We are still having all the same issues. She only gained 1oz last week. We still aren't sure as to why she is just not able to gain weight. She dropped back to the 5% for weight. (Last week was 8th% and she was born in the 25%)

I made an appt this morning to go in on Monday for a sweat test to rule out CF. We also have a referal to a new GI in Dallas. I can call tomorrow to make that appt. I hope and pray that a fresh set of eyes will be helpful. I have heard great things about this GI in Dallas, so I am hopeful, but not holding my breath.

If Dallas can help us the next step is to take her to the Mayo Clinic. :/

    Poor baby and mama.  I can't imagine how hard this must be for you.  Continued prayers that you'll find an answer and that it'll be something not terrible.

    I'm so sorry the doctors haven't found any answers yet. Have y'all talked with Scottish Rite in Dallas? I think they are supposed to be really good and also really good about finances, since I'm sure that isn't helping the stress. Loads of dust that the next doc will have some ideas!

    I really can't imagine how stressful this must be for you. You and Sarah continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Fingers crossed that the GI in Dallas can get to the bottom of this.

    I have been thinking about you guys, thanks for keeping us all updated.  I really hope someone is able to give you answers soon!  Lots of dust and prayers for your baby girl and your family. 

    Just an FYI since it was mentioned, but Scottish Rite is really an orthopedic hospital.  They do lots of bone stuff and some neurology but thats about it.

    No we haven't.Thanks for the info and yes Finances are really become a stress factor. I will look into them.

    WE love the Scottish Rite hospital in Dallas they are amazing and take you regardless of insurance.

    We will continue to pray for Sarah and your family. Please let us know if you need anything.
