Glucola Test Question

Quick question about the glucola testing process.... It's my first blood sugar test (just standard 28 week whatever) and I was under the impression it would be a fasting test. When I called the office the nurse told me that I could eat right up until the test just to limit my carbs. I didn't want to say "are you sure!?" hahaha but does that sound like your experience? I asked my friend who is 3 weeks ahead of me and she said they told her to eat until 2 hours prior to the blood draw. I just want to get this right, haha, I don't want to have to do it twice! TIA!
