4 positive tests and 1 negative test at the doctor?

I took 3 home tests last night and they all came back positive. So I went to the insta care and got another test, the doctor told me it was positive. I then made an appointment for today to see my OB/GYN. I went in today and they said my test was negative. They are doing some blood work now and I have to wait two days! Could someone please help me figure out what is going on? I am only 12dpo..

    This happened to the wife of a guy I work with. All positive at home but negative at the doctor. Blood test confirmed that she is very much pregnant. FX!

    Thank you guys! I am trying not to stress but it was just so disappointing when I went in today and it was negative! Does anyone know if it could just be a chemical pregnancy...? I had minor cramps two days ago. . kind of like a light pinching, thats why I tested so early, I thought it could be implantation cramping?

    How sensitive are your home tests? This happened to my SIL and it was that her HPTs were just more sensitive than the one at the doctor's office. Her blood test came back positive, and the doctor chalked it up to the time of day they tested and the possible discrepancy in test sensitivity.

    I took the clear blue digital test. They say they can detect it 6 days before your missed period...which is where I am. Its just hard for me to believe a test from walmart is more sensitive then from the doctor!

    Ah, gotcha. There are 10mIU tests that are the really early-detection kind. I think that the clear blue and standard tests from the doctor are both 25mIU, so they should be consistent. Weird. Did you test with FMU at the doctor's office the last time?

    That's definitely frustrating, then. Don't worry yet, though...you have more positive tests than negative, so hold tight for the blood test and then see where you are. It's possible it was a CP, but don't automatically think the worst.

    The doctor's test may have been less sensitive than the ones you got positives on.  Also, your urine could have been more diluted when you took the doctor's test.

    Hopefully, you'll get an answer soon.

    Just want to offer some quick encouragement...

    When I was pregnant with my son I had a few positive home tests and then a negative at the doctor's later that day. I had to get betas done over the course of the week and everything was just fine. 

    Turns out the test at the office just didn't pick it up.

    Hoping with you that everything is fine!
