Ryan is doing wonderfully. He was extubated over night and he is recovering nicely. They started feeds again this morning. He is no longer desatting and his HR is back to normal (he had some high HRs the last few days). I am hopeful that they will put him on nasal cannula soon bc he is doing so well. We were able to see him late last night.
Aiden's procedure went well too. They tapped 15 cc's of fluid and it seems to have made him more comfortable. He didn't have any huge episodes (that required stimulation and/or bagging) overnight or this morning. He is currently on 25% O2, down from 40% just before the procedure. His shunt will be put in some time next week, fx.
Thanks for checking in on us!

Sounds like they are both making great progress! I hope they get Ryan moved to canula soon. That was such a huge step to me with Hilyer. As for Aiden, 25% is not much support at all! Go Aiden!
