here is one i make that is uber yum, you can totally sub the greek yoghurt if you want.
home made Ranch dip/dressing that rocks!
I was craving ranch yesterday and at the market I foodgawkered ranch and picked a recipe. Good Golly Miss Molly! This one is easy and super delicious.
Next time I'm going to try it with fage instead of the sour cream/mayo mix.
I also didn't measure the herbs I like it herby so I just sprinkled until it looked good. Just go easy on the dill b/c it can easily over power it. I also added a bit more buttermilk and squeezed half a lemon.
If you don?t have buttermilk on hand, you can combine 3 1/2 tablespoons of milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon juice in a small bowl. Let it stand for 5 minutes until it curdles. That?s it! Makes 1 1/4 cups.
For Dressing: 1/4 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 teaspoon dried dill 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley 1/2 teaspoon dried chives 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Directions: Whisk all ingredients in a small bowl. Adjust seasonings to taste.
I'm not ashamed to say my morning snack is ranch with cheese cubes and pretzle chips

banana bread
buttermilk pancakes/waffles
that's my solution.
both lovely suggestions, but i am trying to decrease carbs and increase veggies. otherwise, i'd be all over the pancakes.
