Hi - I'm new to this board but not the nest / bump. We are moving to Cedar Park from the Northeast in November, DH got a transfer for work. Super excited, but anxious too - its a big move!
We have 2 boys 3.5 and 16 months - hoping for a third in the future, but still gotta sell DH on that idea.
Looking for Rec's on Pediatricians, OB's, and Daycares in Cedar Park.
Thanks!

Anything in particular that you are looking for in a pedi, ob, daycare, etc? There are quite a few of us up north.
Welcome (almost) to Austin! You're picking a great time to move. You'll have a bit of time to ease in to our weather.

Ditto- LOVE Seeker with every fiber of my being. I've been through a lot in the last 18 months and I wouldn't be where I am today without him and all his staff.
If you're not planning on getting pg right away, I would start out seeing one of his NPs first. They are all so wonderful. His wait times can get long- he's popular and he has a lot of patients and, well, he delivers a lot of babies. If you do want to see him try to get an appt in the early am. I've also heard great things about all the other doctors in the AAOBGYN office.
We love our Pedi in Round Rock- we see Dr Kristi Harvey.
I'm another Seeker patient. He's amazeballs.
Our pedi is Dr. Cepeda with Jolleyville Pediatrics. She's totally awesome wonderful with my kids and her calm, laid-back style is perfect for me and my sometimes-too-worried mom brain.
Hi and welcome! You'll love it here.
Thanks everyone! I think I'll like this board - amazeballs, love that term! Is this board very active? I did check out the nest but it seems that board is super slow.
My biggest anxiety is daycares right now - DH is going ahead of us to start his job and start looking at places. I just love our place so much now that I'm worried about finding a new place I love just as much. I'm sure it will be fine though.
Thanks for the recs so far, much appreciated!
Welcome! I've heard good things about (or had personal experience with) Hill Country Pediatrics, Lone Star Pediatrics and Treehouse Pediatrics. Only Lone Star is actually IN CP, but the others may be convenient for you depending on which side of the city you live on.
I've also heard really good things about Bluebonnet School, but I think they may be one of the most expensive places in town.
I love Women Partners in Health (I used Dr. Nash). They're in central Austin but if you aren't driving in rush hour and can use the toll road, it's not too far. Again, depends on which part of CP you're in.
That is a big move--you're picking the right time of year--winter here is amazing!
We go to North Austin Pedia trics, Dr Sperling (Cedar Park location). They are great at getting us in quickly when we need.
My nephew goes to Bright Star Acad emy and loves it.
We are at Blue bonnet, they are good, but expensive.
We see DrFree ze at Rising Stars Pedia tric Dentistry and LOVE her!
I see Dr Ney man at Renais sance women's group.

We absolutely love:
