We are in Smyrna, and we want Max to go to preschool next year (maybe in Jan. if possible). He definitely will need more structure (well more than his current situation anyway). I'm looking for recs that offer both part-time and full. I'm also willing to drive a bit if needed.
thanks!
Re: Speaking of schools...Preschool recs
Pre-school was the most frustrating thing to me in Smyrna and one of the reasons I am so glad we moved. We toured and loved Smyrna First Baptist and Smyrna First Methodist. The problem was we could never get in due to the huge demand!! Once you get in, it's easier to stay year after year. There's St. Benedicts also - H went there for a summer session and I was not impressed at all. I think it was bc it was summer and not the school year - at least I hope. They are undergoing new owners though and I actually got a call from them right before we moved about a spot {we had signed up for at the beginning of the summer session that I had forgotten about }that opened up for H after 2 years. There is also Vinings Academy which was just ok to me - they have a couple of locations, but when I toured them I was not impressed and it didn't seem to be a good fit. Buckhead Prep has a satellite location in Vinings. I couldn't get past the sticker shock to go tour it. lol HTH
Edit: These are all half day preschools ranging from 2 days - 5 days per week
