lol. I usually try to buy some whole wheat brand at least but most often they don't have them or they're double the price so I get the regular Hungry Jack, too. I usually put fruit in it for DS and may sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top.

  • Homemade with no syrup.

  • Aunt Jemima original (so made using 1 whole egg, whole milk and oil) with a little butter for him (maple syrup for us). DS has done fine with whole egg in dishes that I make. I still give him just egg yolk on its own though, which I know makes no sense.

  • I either make my own, or we do the batter blaster stuff (it's organic!), I don't like the chemicals but I do like the organic stuff.

  • Homemade vegan pancakes with formula instead of soy milk. Not because we are vegan, or even vegetarian, but they are my favorite recipes from an amazing vegan cookbook.

This. We just serve them dry. I, personally, like my pancakes with peanut butter and homemade canned peaches (from my mama), so I may start using peach juice to sweeten them up and keep them from being so dry.

  • Bisquick or Sweet Potato Pancakes.  I make a home made fruit syrup that the kids LOVE and I can control the amount of sugar and stuff that goes into it.  She gets a little of that on her pancakes.
  • Earth's Best whole grain organic ones...they have plain or blueberry. We serve them dry as well or put a dab of applesauce on them. I see zero reason to offer syrup.

  • Oh, I don't serve them dry, I make a fruit and yogurt topping. Usually organic berries and yogurt or applesauce.
