Re: Hey Bumpies!!

  • Hello!  It's been a long time for me as well.

I am doing great.  Both kiddos loved their St.Nick presents this morning.  How are you?

  • Great! (Still keeping my lips sealed about a certain secret of mine...eeek!)

My girls loved their St. Nick treats as well. He filled their shoes with candy too and Charlotte thought that was hysterical. I love how kids love Christmas. :)

The feast day of St.Nicholas is December 6th.  Lots of Catholics (and other christians I guess) celebrate by filling up Christmas stockings or shoes with goodies like candy and fruit on the eve of the 6th.  It's fun for the kids to get a little something in the morning :0)  I'm sure there is alot more to the tradition, but that's the short version.
