My name choice for my daughter hasn't been loved by all..Some love the name while others hate it..I know it's my choice and I do like the name, but now me and the husband heard a name that we both like.. I feel like we have both been referring to our little girl as "London" for so long now, it wouldn't feel right or the same to change it right before she is born..The name we heard that sounds good is "Aaliyah" (not sure if that's how I would spell it) but it fits well with our last name and I was even thinking London could be the middle name..but I'm still so unsure of what to do...anyone else have a similar problem?
London Elise Wright ?
London Aliyah Wright ?
Aleah London Wright ?
also posting on baby name board..
Re: changing baby's name at 35 weeks?
I've seen it spelled Alea too. Nice and simple.
I like London Elise best.
We didn't share our name choices with family because we didn't want negative feedback from them. Ultimately if you and your DH are happy with the name, then go with it!
** Was trying to edit, instead i quoted myself... =p
London is such an adorable name for a little girl!!!
Don't get me wrong I love Aleah because... it's my middle name :0P but I spell it Aleigha. It does seem more common than London. I say London Aleah ( however you shoose to spell it ). Just wait until you meet her and then decide.
I agree with waiting until she's born. You may look at her and think she's a Jane or something, lol. I like London better than Aaliyah because that name reminds me of the singer who died, but that's just a me thing.
There are going to be people who like your baby's name and hate your baby's name. You can't please everyone. Pick what YOU like the most, not what other people like the most. Hubby and I have a name we like, but we're telling everyone we don't know because I don't want to deal with everyone else's opinions.
