I have a 1st tri question...

but I can't bring myself to actually ask a question on 1st Tri. At what point does spotting turn into bleeding and needing to go to the ER? I've been spotting on and off and I know that's normal but I just went to the bathroom and I was bleeding enough that a couple drops actually dripped into the water, not just blood on the toilet paper. Right now we're waiting half an hour and seeing if it stops and is just spotting or if it's real bleeding before we go to the ER, but I'm still a little nervous.

I think the official doctor answer is if you can fill a pad in a certain amount of time (4 hour?), then go. BUT, in your situation since you haven't even seen a doctor yet, I'd be looking for any and every excuse to go. I hope it's nothing!
