  We used Lutheran Social Services.  There are several branches around the state.  PM me if you have specific questions, but I would recommend them.

  It's a funny coincidence to see this post today, as we are going through about the worst possible day in adoption-land (at the second attempt at a TPR hearing, and after we've been visiting the baby for a month and a half, the birth parents have decided to parent).  However, as heartbraking as this failed match is for us, I would also still highly recommend Lutheran Social Services.  Our social worker has gone above and beyond in her attention and care for the birth parents and for us.  I think their placement rates are as good as anyone else's.

  First: Sarah I am so sorry for your loss.

  Second I've heard a lot about Pauquette Adoptions in Portage, WI. they work with agencies all over the country too, and not just Wisconsin.
