FF took my CH away when my temp went down, but I forced my O line back in. We did ICI first thing that morning, and then got the +opk that evening. Next morning the opk was totally white and my temp jumped up. I'm thinking the timing will be okay. Agree? Thanks for looking!
Re: My chart. For real this time.
9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

It is a bit confusing. It seems like pretty good timing from the temperature spike, although it's too bad you don't have an OPK reading from the morning of your ICI (?). If your LH started surging overnight the previous night you'd probably be good... but my concern for you is the possibility that your LH surged in the AM or during the day on day 21, which probably would have resulted in a day 22 ovulation. And with frozen sperm a day 21 morning ICI would likely not make it to a day 22 ovulation. I guess it depends on whether you trust the thermometer or the OPK more...but since the OPK does directly measure a horomone that effects ovulation, whereas the temperature is more indirectly related, I'm a bit more inclined to trust the OPK. Are you still considering doing more than one ICI per cycle? I hope this is it for you!! Fingers crossed!
I know you guys were working with a doctor previously - did the doctor believe you were ovulating regularly? Do you have any theories for why your temp drops so much on day 11ish, or have you had that happen before?
IVF Oct/Nov 2012
Beta #1 = 77, Beta #2 = 190, Beta #3 = 1044
Cautiously optimistic.
FF uses an open circle to indicate that your temp for that day may be off for some reason -- I know it does that if you take it at a different time (earlier or later than usual), but I think it also does it if you indicate lack of sleep that night or something else that might affect the accuracy.

Yeah. It can be any number of things. I was wondering what her reason was. I O the day after my first pos OPK so i was wondering how much weight to place in that temp. I found wondfos to be the most sensitive which I would confirm with a digital. So I wonder if she tested with OPKs daily even after the first positive. LH triggers O, but sometimes it takes a couple of attempts. If her temp is reliable the O date looks good.
Also, I'm not familiar with how frozen vs "fresh" affects their viability. I'm curious to see what others have to say.
My understanding is that fresh sperm can survive in your body longer than frozen, meaning you can inseminate earlier and still have fertilization potentially occur. That's just what I've read -- definitely not an expert! I've personally only used frozen sperm (and I've never been pregnant).

My understanding is that frozen sperm can live about 12-24 hours after insemination, whereas fresh sperm can live about 5 days.

Interesting. They say that the sperm should be there waiting for the egg. It would seem like a challenge to predict O with an OPK then temp confirmation but have already inseminated with frozen. I guess the day of your first positive OPK regardless is a good shot and multiple attempts makes sense.
I really enjoy lurking on this board. For this kind of info, relationship stuff, and parenting perspectives.
I temped about 45 minutes later than normal.
We did ICI with frozen the evenings of days 19 and 20, and the morning of 21.
Thanks for your insight!
This is my understanding, as well.
I think you timed it pretty well, then. The day 19 might be a bit early for frozen, but 21 should be good. Good luck!
