I stopped having m/s around 14 weeks. I threw up a couple times that week (in the car with my entire family - yay!) but that was the end of it. I still get intermittent nauseous moments but for the most part, Im good - nothing that Preggie Pops cant solve.
The energy thing came back sometime around there also. Strange but I have been feeling really good now and having a lot of energy, even better than earlier in the 2nd tri. Ive been doing some hardcore nesting and maybe that's what is motivating me.
Hang in there!
Missed m/c at 11.5wks, baby stopped developing at 9wks, D & C 12/10 ; BFP 6/11 EDD 3/16/11, DS born 40w1d at 6lbs 12 oz.
I'm 15 weeks and my m/s just ended about a week ago, although I do still feel "icky" with some foods, and my energy came back around 14 weeks and continue to gets better day by day.
Have you tried eating 6 small meals a day instead of 3 larger meals. It helped me. I never actually vomitted from anything other then brushing my teeth which still happens now but I saw a huge difference when I went to eating the smaller meals. Now I am kinda back to eating the 3 meals or eating whenever I feel hungry truthfully and it's okay. Also chicken and meat made me sick and eventually had aversions to that.

I went from feeling like I was sea sick 24/7 to feeling slightly better around week 12... I've had a few "surprise" m/s issues, but feeling much better. As far as the "energy surge", I'm not feeling like I've just had a coffee, but the first trimester I NEEDED a nap every single day... now I'm able to handle a day and I don't feel like crying if I can't curl up for 20 minutes!! I really hope it gets better for you... It is TOUGH. Hang in there!
With both my pregnancies it lasted from 6 weeks to 12-13 weeks. I don't really notice a huge energy change besides just feeling better cause I can eat normal again.
Never had morning sickness so I can't speak for that, but at almost 17 weeks, I am still waiting for something resembling my energy to return. I complained about it to my OB and he laughed and said that he expects me to get energy back when this kid goes to college. LOL.
My m/s lasted until about 12.5/13 weeks when it just magically disappeared! I got more energy about 13/14 weeks, but nowhere what I had pre-pregnancy.

I was over 20 weeks when it ended with #1. It never ended with #2 (came and went some but I was still puking a couple times a week up until delivery) and it's still going quite strong at 14.5 weeks with this one.
Every pregnancy is different though, most women feel a LOT better in 2nd tri!
Yes thank goodness it went away after my 1st tri... it hit me pretty hard my 1st tri but I managed to make sure I ate alot of small meals. I had crackers around all the time and woke up many times about to throw up but I had made sure I ate something when I got up. I lasted around a month and a half I believe.
GOod luck!

My M/S started to subside at about 10 or 11 weeks and one day it was just gone, thank goodness! My energy has started to return, although not fully. Definitely not as bad as first tri!
I still have ms. It happens. I started to feel better around 17 weeks and had more energy at that time too. I've gone from puking 10+ times per day from 5 weeks to 17 weeks (and yes, I was on Zofran, Reglan and other meds too... none of it worked) and now I'm a 4-6x per week puker.
You just have to find your trigger foods/smells/tiredness and avoid those. I can't eat any crackers, no soup, no popcicles, nothing with seeds, no processed foods, etc... However, I can always eat fresh fruit, veggies and beef without throwing up.
Also - I've found that the more sleep you get, the better the ms is and the better you feel all around. I've upped my Vitamin D and surprisingly, that's helped a lot too.
I don't necessarily have "morning sickness" but food aversions and lack of appetite are very strong. In fact they became more more intense in my second trimester than my first.
I'm just now 13 weeks - and honestly I got a lot of energy back at the end of week 11. Weeks 6-10 were a nightmare as far as energy goes - I had zero! Never had MS though - so thats good!
Now in my 13th week I can stay up well past 8p! The other night I stayed up until midnight, TOTALLY not something I could have done in week 10! Good luck!!
Hi there. My m/s subsided around week 14. However, I still throw up every 4-5 days. I just don't have that terrible all day nausea that I used to have. I can definitely handle staying up a little later now that I am in week 18, but I am still more tired than I was pre-preg. Some days I still want to pass out by 8:30 PM.
I had no M/S until probably around week 10 and it lasted 3 weeks and even then it was just feeling seasick. I never got sick.
My energy fell out around week 6 and didn't return until around week 15 or so. I needed a nap every day and could sleep 9 hours a night. I'm still not 100% in my energy but when it does hit me, I capitalize on it.
Good luck. Know that everyone has a different experience. Enjoy the journey. I am!

This pregnancy I only had a day or two of m/s.

My energy has definitely returned, but I HAVE to get a full nights sleep. And naps never hurt =]
