sudafed non drowsy keep me awake??

taking this before bed tonight, but worried since it's the non drowsy formula, it will keep me awake. what's your experience with sudafed? thanks in advance...hoping to crash in an hour.

if you are asking if it's pseudoephedrine, then yes. i'm leaning towards not taking it, but i can't breathe out of my nose at night...damn cold!

Pseudoephedrine is a stimulant, so yes, it will likely keep you awake. Benadryl will provide a lot of the same symptom relief without keeping you up, and will likely help you sleep.

I don't even know why they need a non-drowsy of that stuff! I ditto the benadryl. It's pretty much all I ever take.

I took sudafed once at 9pm not realizing the side effects and was up until 7am, unable to sleep. I heard that one of the ingredients is used to make meth, so...needless to say it will probably keep you up.

I'm apparently not normal, because Sudafed puts me to sleep. Benedryl only helps me sleep the first day I take it. If I have the Benedryl a second/third/etc. day in a row it keeps me up all night.
