Furreal Walking Pup

Anyone have this and how is it?    Reviews I have read on it go back on forth.

    That is on DD's list.  I couldn't bring myself to spend the $ on it - I read the reviews and couldn't decide if it was worth it.  I found a similar walking dog with a leash at TRU for 1/2 the price.  The reviews were about the same, so I went with the cheaper option.  DD will probably like it more since it's pink!

    dd got it last christmas... she played with it a lot in spurts... only had a lull this fall b/c I didn't replace the batteries. just did last weekend and the darn thing has been all over the house.  the hair has held up better than I expected. I thought it would be matted up nasty within weeks... but no.. it is not almost a year later. I have no complaints...  well, one.  I had to open it last year to turn it from display mode to off before I wrapped it b/c any time we walked past it (when I bought it and when I pulled it out to wrap it) it would bark or yelp.  what I should have done was just leave it out of the box and placed it in a big gift bag (turning it on christmas eve after they went to bed)... so that when she opened it it would pant and bark at her as she lifted it out.... just an idea
