When you use one at a restaurant, how do you keep it from tipping over when your kid is squirmy? Or are we not ready for once since she is so squirmy? We tried it one time and the thing kept tipping off the chair since it was not strapped on.
We tried using them a couple of times, but after she nearly tipped out of her chair, we stopped and just went straight to letting her sit/kneel in a chair or in the booth. DD was probably about your daughter's age when we started letting her sit in a seat. She was less squirmy in a chair, and all it took was threatening to get a highchair to keep her in her seat.

We don't use them. We tried once, but he kept getting out of it. We stuck with high chairs until we felt he was okay in the regular seat. That's what he sits in now.
