did anyone take phentermine/adipex?

Before I knew I was pregnant (we were not trying to get preggo, I was told I couldnt without Clomid) I took phentermine. I took it for 12 days. I was 3-4 weeks pregnant when I was taking it. My general doc had prescribed it to me to help me lose weight. After I got to my goal weight we were going to start trying to get pregnant. But we all know things don't go as planned.

My question is: Did any of you take this when you were pregnant? I am scared that it may have hurt the baby since I didn't know I was pregnant. My doc says it should be fine but I worry alot. Obviuosly I'm not taking it now, but I'm worried about what it may have caused.

    I was on the exact same thing for about a month before I knew I was pregnant, when I found out I was pregnant, I immediatly stopped taking it, per my pcp instructed. I talked to my OB about this, and she stated that since I stopped taking it as soon as I found out, that nothing will happened to LO, just make sure not to take it until after you are completed with breastfeeding (if you are doing that).

    If you stopped when you got a bfp I would assume you are fine.  I took adderol and had to stop once I got my bfp.  While they are different drugs, they have similar effects on appetite, so I think we are fine.

    Thanks for the replies! I have worries about this alot and tried to put it out of my mind but I'm glad that you guys feel ok about it. I feel a litle better now!
