When do you think LO will come?

Everyone including my OBGYN thinks LO will come sometime in December, but I think he will stay in longer than the 40 weeks.

When do you ladies think LO will come December or January?

Think or hope?

I would absolutely love a December baby. I was born 3 weeks early, and DH was born 4 weeks early so that would put us right around the holidays. My mother thinks that I will go early as well. However, knowing my luck, the baby will come late just to annoy me and I'll go into February. Considering that everything seems to be going text-book perfect so far, and I haven't had any signs of early labor, the second option is probably what will happen. We will see. I'll just keep praying that I don't go over 40 weeks.

Well, if you ask my husband, he thinks we'll have a December baby, but I think I'm going right up to my due date. My mom had both me and my sister right on our due dates, and so far my pregnancy has been exactly like my mom's, so who knows.

I'd prefer an early January baby because my birthday is the 26th of December and having a Christmas birthday kind of sucks when you're a kid (just my opinion).

I assume he will probably come sometime after my due date so mid to late January.

My husband is stuck on the date December 17th. I think it is wishful thinking. Vegas is extremely dead the week before Christmas and it will be easy for him to take the week off. The week between Christmas and New Years is insanely busy and it would be a huge problem if she arrived that week, especially New Years Eve!

If we stay in Vegas, his current GM's last day is Jan 1, so taking off work after jan 1 will also be a huge problem and almost impossible.

So, I know it sounds bad, but yes, I am hoping my baby comes at 37 weeks. Early, but full term. I want him to be able to bond and be with her for more than one night off of work.

I have been having alot of contractions latley so Im thinkinh he might come early. i always had this feeling he would. If not he will no matter what be born on Jan 3rd via c-section.

The EDD was shifted a bit earlier a few months ago to 12/31 and I honestly think that she will come the week between Christmas and New Years but I really have no idea and in the end they come when they are ready.

My one and only dream about having the baby included her being born on 12/27 (I'm due 1/14). Everything has been going really smoothly so far, no contractions or anything, but I get my first internal exam on Thursday, so we'll see if anything's 'happening' that I"m not aware of. I kind of feel like she'll come earlier than the 14th, but I think that's partly just wishful thinking/me wanting her to come on her own and not be so late that I have to be induced!

My scheduled c-section is set for New Year's Eve so I am praying that he stays put until then. I will be 39 weeks on my c-section date so no matter what I will definitely have a December baby.

but i am thinking I won't even see L and D until january since my due date is 1/23

I don't know. I think on time, which would be 1/26 or 1/27. But I kind of think 1/21/12 or 1/22/12 would be cool birthdays... hee.

My husband told me last night he thinks the baby will come in February!! Please no!!

I seriously go back and forth about this on an almost daily basis. Sometimes I feel like he will come in December (even though I'm not due until 1/19, but DS was born 11 days before his due date, so I feel like this one will come even earlier sometimes), and sometimes I feel like he will stay put until around his due date. The next few weeks are going to be really busy with DS's birthday, Christmas, and New Year's, so it just seems typical that LO will decide he wants to join in on the fun instead of waiting until all of that is out of the way, lol. I actually wouldn't mind him coming in December as long as he's full term (I'll be 37 weeks during the week between Christmas and New Year's), but I definitely want him to stay inside until at least then! I will be so glad when Christmas has passed and he is still in there, because then I'll be ok with whenever he decides to join us!

I'm due to be induced Jan 10th but I was already dilated 2cm & I'm still having contractions so I'm hoping she'll come end of Dec. instead. I'd love it if she was my Christmas present!

I am praying for December otherwise I will have to go back to work before I am ready to send LO to daycare

I was 3 weeks late and 11 lbs and DH was right on time. My OB has said if it starts to look like baby is getting too big he is coming out early and I really really hope that is the case.

I have the feeling Little O will be here before his due date (1/9) and so does most of the people around me. My mother says we will be in the hospital on christmas but SO and myself want a new years baby!

Both of my kids were born at 38w, but I really think this one might hang in there until her due date. I have had some progress and contractions (I'm on procardia), and my OB thinks she will come earlier, but I don't feel like she is coming anytime soon.

My EDD is the 19th but I think I will go at the beginning of January. I would love to have him on 3rd b/c that is my dad's birthday and I think he would love that...plus that would get me out of work like a week early. I have an ultrasound scheduled on the 14th so we'll see how he is measuring then!

My best guess would be between Jan 15-22. I was induced with my first due to PIH so I have no idea when he would have come.

I went in to be induced with DD at 39w6d and I was already contracting every 7 min so I think there would have been a good chance that she would have come that day or on her due date if I didn't go to the hospital.

I think I will be right on time. I sure hope so. I have a wedding mid march so I'd prefer to have more recovery time first.

DS was 1 week early. With this being my second I'm really hoping I don't go late because I was kind of spoiled last time. I want to avoid Christmas/New Years. I have a a friend who always disliked her birthday of 1/2 because it was always the day you go back to work/school after winter holidays. Ideally I'd love 1/3-1/12 (my due date). My OB bets this LO will come between 39 and 40 weeks which is fine with me.

January 5th (but, my hopefully not-needed RCS is scheduled for that day).

I think that I would end up past-due if it weren't for the RCS, but I'm REALLY hoping for a VBAC, so I'm praying I go into labor sometime before that date.

An unrealistic, but neat date would be 12/28. In our family, we have birthdays on 12/18, 12/20, 12/22, 12/24, and 12/26, so 12/28 would just continue the every other day birthday trend.

Everyone is saying I will go early, but I still think he will be late. My guess is Jan. 11 (due Jan 3). I'm really hoping he's stays in until at least the 1st!

I haven't had any internals yet, but all of my outside measurements are right on track. Since I am a FTM, I imagine I'll be late- maybe even a February mama.

I'm hoping that we're close to the birth mother's Jan 15th EDD...but I did have a weird dream the other night that everyone was at the hospital and Santa Claus was handing me our daughter. So, who knows!

I am pretty sure he will be here in December. I'm on bed rest from pre term labor and right now is to make it to 36 weeks..I have less than a week until then, so that is awesome. Personally I want to make it to my scheduled Csection date of January 4th, but I don't see it happening.

I'm assuming LO will be late since I had to be induced with DS at 10 days overdue. But, I think 1-2-12 would be a very cool birthday. With my due date of Jan 11, I really really doubt I will have a Dec baby, and actually would prefer a Jan baby. In Ontario, the school cut-off is the calendar year, so an end of Dec baby would be the youngest in his/her class.
