Vasectomies

I know a few of your H's already had this done or were looking in to it.  What kind of dr did they go to?  A urologist I am guessing?  But did your dh do it in an office or at a surgical/outpatient setting?  We will have a $40 copay if we pick a preferred dr, but then additional facility fees that are not covered at all if it is done at an outpatient or surgical center.  So if he gets it done in an office, then it will be significantly cheaper for us.  Any ROC recs?

    dh went to WNY urology.  The procedure was done there in dr's office in a room.  THe practice he used was huge and there were at least 50 people in the waiting room.

    We used WNY Urology too. From sign in to getting back in the car it was maybe 35 minutes.

    A couple of my friends were referred to both Dr. Gentile or Dr. Stopp. (I couldn't make up those names if I tried!)

    I think Dr Stopp either retired or died, maybe his kid is doing it now? EVERYONE I know who has had one has been there! lol

    TTC since 6/2003. m/c 9/14/03 8 weeks, 5 chemical pregnancies, mmc 6/04 12 weeks, Michael born sleeping 5/25/05 at 22weeks always our angel, fought ovarian cancer and won, m/c 4/06 5.2 weeks and 7/07 6.6 weeks,Our Miracle baby girl born 4/8/10,mc 12/18/11 at 5.3 weeks, BFP 10/26/12 dating u/s on 11/8/12 showing a strong heartbeat!EDD July 4,2013. RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4

    My BIL went to Dr. Stopp.. How I know this is beyond me :)

    Bahahaha, I've heard of the infamous Dr. Stopp.  Yeah, he's not practicing anymore.  My friend's DH went to someone good, I'll get the name for you.  I've been meaning to get the name for DH.

    I'm in the capital region, so not where you are... but, my H had one a few years ago and went through a urologist, and he did it right there in that same office building.  No hospital or anything.
