JW what you were doing for a holdiay present if you DC provider is out of their home. We only have to get a gift for just her. TIA

I am probably getting my provider a basic Kindle. But, she is more like a grandparent to my kids than a DCP.

My kids go to an "in-home" but it's our main lady and then she has 3 "teachers" that work there too. I will probably give them each a bag of cookies that we bake and a small gc to Target or something. When we had just 1 DCP to buy for, I usually did $50-$75 to a nice-ish restaurant in our area.

Last year I got her a $100 gc to a restaurant. She was able to take her entire family and it was a huge hit.

This year I am getting the family a yearly pass to the science museum here.

DS goes to an in home daycare and there are two caregivers there. For the daughter I bought a giftcard to a theatre here because she loves plays and for the other I bought a Barnes and Noble giftcard and a Christmas ornament.
