Not sure why I decided to torture myself by attempting to fit into my Pre preg jeans. I'm going to a Christmas party and off I go in my maternity jeans. Well now I know where those 20 pounds are hanging out....in my thighs and butt. Man I can't wait to be cleared to go back to the gym!
Re: Pre preg jeans- fail!!
I'm in the same boat. I pulled out this huge box of pre-pregnancy clothing and only 3-4 long sleeve shirts fit :-(
Even my maternity jeans don't fit right anymore...I keep having to pull them up every 5 sec. So I just decided to buy a larger size pair of jeans (with stretchy denim) two days ago. I'll probably wear them many days a week until I lose the baby weight. I have no clue what I'm going to wear most of this winter and I really don't want to buy too many big size clothing items...oh well.

I can get mine on and zip them up but they look ridiculous. My thighs are bigger and while I can stand in the jeans.....definitely can't sit in them.
I bought 2 pairs of jeans to get me through. Lucky for me my MIL sews and can take in my jeans once I drop some more weight, but in the meantime, it's a little depressing to be wearing the size I am right now.
This is me exactly...ugh!
Try Macys- they are having a HUGE sale plus an extra 25% off sale/clearance. I saw a ton of nice long tunic sweaters that will work well with leggings. Good luck!
I made the mistake of trying on mine as well. I can button them, and then I have the world's largest spare tire hanging over them...
I'm only a few pounds above my pre-pg weight, but it's obviously really redistributed. I'll apparently be in my maternity jeans for a while longer. I'm hoping to avoid buying larger jeans because I really really want to get back into my old size.
This exactly! Grrrr. I started working out.. hopefully will be able to dust off the pre-preg jeans soon.
Having lost most of my pregnancy weight, I too, tried to fit into pre-pregnancy pants. Epic fail. I could get them mostly up (I would have torn a seam had I tried to sit or bend over), but they weren't close to zipping or buttoning.
With only a few weeks left before heading back to work, I know I need to try on my dress clothes to see what will be appropriate. I have a bunch of coupons for stores that expire around Christmas, so I know I have to see what I can get by with and what I can buy for cheap to hold me over until I am "normal size."
But, as I look at my precious little guy sleeping in his rock and play, I realize the flabby tummy and bigger bottom is worth it.
You are absolutely right!
