Unfinished furniture?

Has anyone bought unfinished furniture locally?  We are specifically looking for a small-ish bookcase.  The place I've been referred to in the past looks like it closed.

    I got some unfinished shelves from Hobby Lobby. Not sure if they have any larger furniture, though.

    Furniture in the raw. It's on Burnet and Anderson ln. They'll even finish it for you of you want and their prices are reasonable. I just bought a coffee tables and end tables for less than half that I was expecting to pay. I'm finishing mine myself though. It's obvious they make most of their money on their staining and painting fees.

    We bought both of our dressers at Furniture in the Raw. They often have half off sales and their quality is great.
