We're probably going to the Barton Creek Santa, and I don't know what to expect.
So they have a photographer that takes the pictures? I know you can buy prints, but can you buy the photo on a disk (what I mean is ... how is everyone getting them on their computers? Are you all just scanning them?)
What are the prices like? I tried calling the phone number it says to call for pricing, but no one answers.
Do I need to take cash, or can I assume they have a CC maching setup?
Re: Talk to Me About Santa
I can't remember prices exactly... I probably spend $25-30. You can buy a CD if you want and they definitely take credit cards.
Have fun!
Our Blog
I know! DH and I just went last week.
First off be warned you are going to get some teeny bopper after school job photographer who cut off our heads the first picture. They take as many as they can to make sure your little one is smiling, looking at the camera not having a mini stroke in Santa's lap.
Santa is super sweet and soft spoken and very patient. As a mom you can stand next to photographer and see the screen after each shot and tell her to keep going if you want. There was a lady who did just that.
Be prepared to spend atleast $25 for a little package. You can get a CD for an extra $13. Or just get a CD with ALL the photos for $30. But make sure they take more than 3.
After the photos you move over to three computers to view the photos and pick your favorite one to purchase. Yes, you can use credit card. If there is not one you like or one that the Big Elf helper doesnt think is good enough they will let you back in for a quick re-do. Again, we saw it happen right before our turn.
All in all it is good customer service and it should be since you are paying out the wa-zoo for a 5x7 photo. Bottom line, stay there and keep trying until you get one you like.
