Pregnant in real life

Do you know anyone else who is due around the same time as you irl? I just saw a friend post on Facebook that she is due about 20 days before me. I'm not out of the "pregnancy closet" yet, so it was really hard to not message her "I'm due in June too!" I want more pregnant friends irl. How about you?

DH's cousin is due July 5th. I'm kind of glad she's having a baby at the same time and because it's her first baby, it takes the spotlight off of me. I like DH's family, but they can be VERY overwhelming and overbearing when it comes to one of the family members having a baby. I also love reading her FB statues about her pregnancy... she's so blissfully clueless about having a baby and sometimes I let out a giggle. Not making fun of her, because I've been in her shoes before, but some of the stuff she posts is just so funny and it takes me down memory lane.

I have a friend due in January and colleagues due in January and March. No one is due around me and it kind of makes me sad. But then again, maybe they're like you and haven't outted themselves yet!

I'm the only one of my friends who's even on the married/baby train. Nobody else I am close to is married yet, though one is getting married next weekend. However, she's on BC and doesn't plan on coming off of it any time soon. It drives me NUTS because a lot of my friends somehow think that they know what I'm going through, or I shouldn't be feeling this or that, or its too early for hip pain.

It's incredibly frustrating.

One of my sorority sisters is expecting #2 as well. I am still in the closet until after the n/t scan on Friday, but she announced at 5 weeks and is due after me so I've known for a minute. I know what you mean, I was dying to tell her too!

My best friend from college is due at the end of April, and my sister is due in early May. It's nice having IRL pregnant friends this time around.

I have one friend due May 3rd and another due July 7th. So, nobody shares the same due date month with me, but we are all pretty close. It is nice to have friends who are due around the same time!

I know someone due in April and May. I don't live near them though. I'm not out of the PG closet either and I so want to say something to them but am waiting until our 20 week ultrasound to completly come out.

My cousin's gf is due two weeks before me. I am not "out" to anyone besides our parents and siblings so far so this will be tricky. There has been a ton of grumbling among my aunts, uncles, and cousins about the "trash" my cousin is dating. There is a lot of disgust with their choice to start a family (they first began ttc while they were still dating other people). Once we are out I do not want to become the shining example of how to start a family. I dread any comparisons - especially where we are due so close together.

My husbands cousins wife is pregnant with #2 and our girls are about 4 wks apart. We were pg with them together and then they moved away when the baby was 4 months. She is due about 9 days after me...so its funny we are going through it again together. The rest of the family doesnt know she is pregnant yet so they will be thrilled to know we are pg again together.

My DH's sister-in-law is due April 24th, so 2 months before us and one of my ex-coworkers who I still keep in touch with is due May 21st... no one in June though..

Yup! It appears that 2 of my good friends are pregnant along with someone at work. The co irker announced at 5 weeks while I held it in until last week. I havent put it out on fb yet so who knows who will turn up after that!

one of hubby's friends is due just a few days (I think like 5) before me... she's such a sweet girl and has struggled to get pregnant so I'm so happy for her. Another one of my friends just announced that his wife is pregnant and due in June, I'm assuming close to when I'm due because of the timing of the announcement.

There are 4 moms in a group that I was in after I had #1 who are having babies- 1 in April and 3 in June. I've wanted to email the group and add my name to the list, but I'm waiting until after my appointment on the 15th.

Yep. I have many friends pregnant right now and have had a lot of friends pregnant over the past few years so I've been through all three pregnancies with plenty of people I know IRL. It's definitely that season of life for me! Babies everywhere!

One of my closest friends is due 7 days before me with her 1st.

Sadly another friend who was due the same day as me, lost the baby last month I am just heartbroken for her it is her 4th loss and they have been trying for almost 4 years for #2.

My step niece in law is due the same day is me. She's only 19 and it's not the best situation so I've been trying to help support her. It's difficult because she lives across country from us but I keep in contact through Facebook and telephone calls.

Yup 2 people! My sister in law is pregnant...she thinks she's due towards the end of July and also a mutual friend of ours is Pregnant and due at the beginning of July.

I don't really mind sharing the spot light but man oh man this last weekend I had dinner with some family members and all they would talk about was how my SIL was stealing the spot light from me since she already has 3 kids. I just kind of sat there and stayed quiet I didn't know what to say Indifferent

Oddly enough, there are FOUR girls from my high school class due within two weeks of each other. Although I haven't seen any of these ladies in a long time, we have been messaging one another on Facebook, and it has been really comforting knowing we are all going through the same things at the same time. It will be the first baby for three of us. One of the girls is due June 21, one on June 22, me on June 28 and another on July 2. I am the ONLY one of the four who has not announced on FB yet, so I am slightly jealous that it is public info for the other three, but I am still trying to keep it a secret for another few weeks.

My closest cousin is due March 5, a friend of DH's on March 17 and a friend at work on April 14. So I have quite a few people in my boat right now, so to speak

I have 2 friends due around the same time as me. One of them is local and another lives a few hours away. It's really nice to have both of them to talk to since they are at about the same stage as me. (One is 6 days ahead and the other is 1 day behind me.)

I actually know a few people who are due around the same time as me! It's pretty awesome! My best friend from high school, who I am still fairly close with is due the day before me! When I was pregnant with my first, I had to train a person to take my place while I was on leave. When I came back the company decided to offer her a position! Since then we have been pretty much inseperable! We are due the same day! Big Smile

A bunch of girls I went to school with are all pregnant and due in June but so far I have no close friends that are but with Olive my 4 month old I had over 7 friends and family that were all due around me so I'm guessing most are done having babies for the moment. lol My two closest friends are both trying for baby #3. I am hoping they get their BFP soon so we can go through our pregnancies together again.

I don't know anyone who is due around the same time as me. However, 3 friends gave birth the week I took my test....they all had their babies and I was like, wouldn't it be funny if I was next? Took the test, and yep! lol!

I was the first of my group of friend to get married, and now am the first to get pregnant. For DH - he was right in the middle of the pack with his friends in terms of getting married, and we are the last of the group to start a family - heck half of his friends are already on baby #2. It kinda sucks that I'm not close to any of the other wives at all - I am a few years younger than them, didn't go to school with them, and then didn't have a baby, so haven't really been a part of the group.

As for IRL people, there really isn't anyone I am remotely close to. My brother's best friend and his wife are pg with twins, roughly about 2 weeks ahead of me, and a co-worker of DH's wife is 1week ahead of me.

Like many other posters, we are not 'out' yet, - not going to come out at work until the new year, but will tell the rest of the family at Christmas when we see them in person.

With my first 2 kids, I was never pregnant at the same time as anyone I knew. This time, I'm pregnant at the same time as my SIL, and a bunch of friends (one or two closer friends, but the rest are more like acquaintances). I'm due the latest out of them all by about a month, but it's pretty exciting.

I actually know quite a few girls who I USED to be friends with that are pregnant now and it sucks that we aren't friends anymore but they graduated from me years ago

All my close friends now are either in the "just married" phase (as am I) and happy with that or still single and not ready for kids...I'm on my own!

On Thanksgiving, Ours friend's (couple A) surprised us and are expecting their 2nd in Mid July.

This weekend we went to dinner with couple A and Couple B. Couple B drops the news that THEY are expecting the beginning of July. Our circle of friends are all KU. The funny thing is, I work with the girl in Couple B, and we will be on leave at the same time.
