Monitors for 2 kids

I can't seem to find any monitors that are made for 2 kids in different rooms.  What have you guys found?  I'm not sure if I want video or just sound but I would like to hear/see both kids at the same time without carrying around 2 monitors wherever I go in the house.

  • I have a Summer Infant Slim & Secure. They are always coming out with new models. The Slim & Secure wasn't available when I registered while pregnant with DS, so we exchanged what we originally chose for it after he was born. By the time I was pregnant with DD they had a newer, better model.

Anyway, the Slim & Secure can scan up to four video cameras. I like it a lot.

  • We were already using the Summer Infant Slim & Secure Digital Video Monitor for DS1 and we plan on buying the extra camera for DS2's room once he starts sleeping in there (he's in the bassinet in our room right now). You can have up to four cameras on one monitor & you can manually change between rooms or there's a scan feature that automatically scans each of the rooms every 15 seconds.

  • I've got a summer one; its worked great and i just added a second camera to ds2's room. It doesn't pan automatically go back and forth and right now with ds2 at 7 months and ds1 at 22 months i am not as worried about ds1 and can hear him if he does cry during the night; but never does. All you have to do to switch is bring up the menu and go to camera 2 for ds2's room; easy switching back and forth.
  • we've got the Safety 1st Prism video monitor, it takes up to 4 different cameras with just one handheld device, you just buy additional cameras.
