teething? or not feeling well?

she's almost 3 months old, but she tries to gnaw on everything. she even tries to chew my collarbone as i'm holding/carrying her. 

also has diarrhea, no fever, and slept from 5pm-9am this morning (waking around every 4 hours to eat).

but she's not really fussy, other than when she can't quite get at her hands to stick them in her mouth.

you think the sleeping and diarrhea is from teething maybe?

*i asked her Dr. and he said she won't be teething until 6 months (but i think he's lying)

    My lo is going to be 4 months next week and is cutting her first tooth now. Most teeth don't start to cut until 6 months but teething symptoms can begin a couple monthes before.

    Yes, I would think teething, too.  DD does this.  She has been miserable in the evenings lately and very drooley (is that a word?).  Babies can teeth before 6 months.  Not all babies are by the book! I have seen quite a few posts where babies have cut their first teeth around 3 or 4 months old on here!
