Puffy/hard above incision

I had a c section 5 days ago. The incision itself is healing nicely, but there is this puffy/firm area right above it (where it's numb). Is this normal? I am in Germany and the doctors here didn't give much info, other than my stitches will dissolve in about 10 days.

    Puffiness is probably just inflammation and will go away.  Hardness is scar tissue and it will not go away.

    sounds like me after the c/s. Dr said the hardness was fluid... it went away. I would keep an eye on it, if it gets worse call the Dr

    It's not true that hardness won't go away.  Most scars are hard at first and as they heal they get softer and the hardness goes away.
