Nausea.. getting better or worse??

How is everyone doing with the nausea? I was really hoping that by now, it would be better, but unfortunately, over the past few days, it has flared up again and I have been pretty miserable.. Are any of you that are in the second trimester feeling any better yet? Just curious as to when people's nausea got better or let up completely...

Re: Nausea.. getting better or worse??

  • With DS it ended at 11 wks. With DD 16 wks, I am feeling somewhat better now but had a few days of feeling horrible after a few good days. It could just be you are getting there. Its hard to know when it will end. Hang in there.

  • I feel like it's a TINY bit better - I feel better during the day than before, but definitely still have plenty of MS and lots of food aversions. It kind of seems like I'm just better able to handle it now because I'm used to it and have figured out a few small tricks to keep the nausea more in check. Definitely haven't seen any major improvements yet, though. Here's hoping!

  • Mine started to get better around 11 weeks or so. This past week I have no longer had the 24 hour nausea and it now comes it waves and can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Either way it is an improvement for me so I am happy.

  • Mine has definately not gotten any better yet. It has actually gotten worse over the last 2 weeks. I haven't been able to eat or drink much. My OB finally started me on some meds which has been amazing! Hopefully it will start to get better for all of us very soon :)

  • Mine seems to be a little better, but I still have a few days of nausea and sickness.  Nights seem to be the worst.
  • I was doing really good this past week then it came back pretty strong yesterday. I'm still feeling sick this morning!

  • My nausea/vomiting was getting better and then it got worse again and then better and then worse.  Once I hit 12 weeks, I thought I was much better, but last night was horrible for me (12 weeks 5 days).  Hopefully, 13 weeks will be better.

  • I too have my periods of improvement (as in I can perhaps go through 2 hours without any nausea) but its still an all day ordeal for me :( I'm now half way through my 12th week I believe and I may be losing hope that this all day sickness will go away. I told my doc I'd hold him to his promise that things would improve in a few days... he said not to worry that usually right after the 1st trimester it improves and that the last trimester will just be more uncomfortable reflux issues along with body aches. I'm beginning to wonder if i'll have this nausea/lack of appetite/disgust with all food symptoms all throughout the pregnancy!
  • I was starting to get better and then all the sudden it came back with a vengance! I have been so sick the last couple of days.  Hoping it only goes up from here for everyone.

  • It seems like it's trending better. I was able to walk around a bit the last two nights, which I haven't been able to do in over a month.

  • I'm lucky enough that my nausea wasn't too bad (I only threw up about 3 or 4 times!), but there were some mornings that were horrendous! Mine got tons better at 11w and then at 12w1d, it got bad, so bad that I literally puked right as I walked out of the shower. It's a lot better now and I'm pretty much back to eating everything lol! I'm still really craving pickles though... Smile

  • Mine got better around 10 weeks & I thought I was in the clear.  And then it came back again around 11 weeks. :(   I'm not sick ALL day like I was before, but my nausea still comes in waves.  And I feel like my digestive system is working soooo slowly & that's making me feel awful too. Hope all you ladies start feeling better soon!
  • mine got better around 12 weeks.  I still have a little that comes and goes and nighttime seems worse :(  However, I'm feeling much better and I'm able to drink a cup of coffee again, Yay!!   I'll be passing out of the first try this week!  Yee Haw!!!!

  • hey...my nausea has been in the evenings.  It was like every night for a month during the 2 and 3 month but now it is not so much.  Since it hasn't been, I've gained 2 pounds in one week...lol.  I also thought it was neat that we are due on the same date. If you would like to keep chating, reply back :) Good luck with your pregancy!

  • Mine has been a little bit better the past few days. Although, I am not out of the woods yet. I felt like I was going to hurl on the train to work this morning. Yuck.
