I know it's early but I was feeling the normal bubble sensations last night, and they were becoming distinctly more kick-like. So I put my hand down there and I felt the twitch from the outside! I think the baby must have been kicking in circles because I only felt 1 good kick with my hand and the rest I could feel from the inside but they were more faint. Seems like baby is most active right before I go to bed (10:30pm-ish) and around 3pm in the afternoon.

Re: I think I felt the baby move... from the outside!

That's so awesome!
It's really amazing how much stronger and more frequent the kicks become over the next several weeks.
I told DH I thought I felt the baby kick from the outside on Friday night, but I wasn't 100% sure. I can't wait to experience that again.

I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

I think I did last night too... pretty amazing!
Congrats!
outside kicks started for me almost a week ago, i have had a few head butts too. DH almost jump off the couch the first one he felt.
just remember ladies, if you feel kicks one day you may not the next, or the next five days, that is NORMAL, and if you haven't felt anything, totally NORMAL, has to do with your body size, where the placenta is, and if LO is facing the right direction, (although i have been kicked in the back a couple times, and it is not comfortable)
Jealous. Not even inside kicks yet.
Darn anterior placenta and FTM-ness
That's awesome! I think it's entirely possible (for us, likely not someone else ) to feel it from the outside at this point in the game because we are so focused on it....I felt fluttering sensations for the first time on Thursday night, and then again last night. Last night Nugget was a lot more active, and there were 2 or 3 distinct jabs (although they felt like strong taps rather than what an actual kick probably feels like, but definitely stronger than fluttering) so I put my hand down where I was feeling all the fluttering in my abdomen and it was very faint but I could feel some slight movement from the outside. It almost felt like a slight, quick vibration on my fingers and to be honest, if I hadn't been focusing on it I wouldn't have felt it from the outside.
Nugget seems to be super active to where I can feel it at night and I feel it more when I lie down for bed. It makes me smile

I'm the same way! My stomach is gurgly and bubbly a lot, so if the baby is doing something, I think I'm missing it.
I just wanted you to know that you aren't alone.
Same here. But I was also told at my last ultrasound that I have an anterior placenta, which will cause me to feel kicks a little later in the pregnancy than some other women.
I'm glad it's not just me! I know in my head that it can be 23 weeks before you feel anything, but it's hard to shut my brain off, you know? I'm always worrying. I think I'll feel better if everything is OK after my anatomy scan!
