I think I want Ugg boots(hangs head in shame)

for the longest time I thought they were ugly but when my mom and I went shopping she was buying my sister tall boots and leggings. I loved the boots so I tried on leggings.  So not what I expected.  I actually liked how they looked and even got a pair of jeggings.  Now I want ugg boots or the knock off version so I can have more than 1 pair of shoes to wear with the pants.  Do you think those kind of boots are only for young girls?  I want to make sure I am not too old for the look.  i would not wear mine with seatpants that say Pink across the but and look a mess.  (For some reason that is how I see most girls who wear them)

  • I don't know your age, but I'm gonna say no.. definitely NOT to old for uggs. I bought a pair of sorta fake ones last year, and absolutely love them. I'd love a real pair, too.  I'm 32 and wouldn't hesitate to wear them.

  • I don't think you're too old. But I don't find them fashionable at all. I like them for warmth and comfort, but wouldn't wear them and feel stylish or anything.

funny u mention it. I just ordered these this morning. Sears has free shipping, a 20% off all boots and lots of colors/boot heights to choose from

  • I don't think you are too old at all. I mean Uggs started becoming so famous by celebrities wearing them...and they were not "little girls". I've been looking at getting knock off pair. On Amazon the Bearpaw brand got really good reviews and look just like them but are half the price.

LOL I have teenage twin girls across the street and this is them to a T.

  • Uggs + leggings (extra thick ones this time of year) + long tunic sweater = most comfortable outfit I own.  I am 29 and wear mine all.the.time.  I can't imagine winter without them.

I also own a few pairs of Bearpaws (knockoffs) in different colors that I don't mind trashing in the snow.

  • I love this look and I love my Uggs. I don't care what other people say and I'm actually really sick of hearing people tell me Uggs are ugly as I wear them. Really? Can I tell you that your shirt is ten years out of style and pretty fugly as well? Ummm no because that would be rude.

Anyhow....I bought a pair of Bearpaws trying to save money and honestly they just aren't the same. Uggs have a much better sole and more cushion and support my feet way better. I think I'm now going to waste even more money and buy what I should have bought in the first place. ::sigh:: I love wasting money hahaha
