Off BC, shortening cycles

When I went of BC, I had read so much about cycles being crazy and possibly longer than the 28 days on the pill, and I was prepared to face that. Month one: 28 days, month two: 27 days. Now this month I'm three days early. I'm so confused cause I was really prepared to have long cycles, and I know I should be happy to have shorter than longer. I know it could easily change since I haven't been off for long, but did anyone else have a few shorter cycles after BC instead of longer?

    Your body might just have jumped back from the hormones quickly. Everyone has a different experience after birth control.

    I have had very long cycles and several anovulatory months, so feel blessed that you are regular. We have been trying for 4 going on 5 months and still waiting for cycles to regulate.

    It can take your body up to a year to regulate after coming off BCP. I wouldn't start getting worried this early. Hang in there!

    TTC since June 2010.
    DX hypothyroidism, pituitary hyperfunction, and PCOS.
    On med/treatment break indefinitely. Not currently trying.

    Mine were shorter like that for a few months... and now this cycle is extremely long.  
    Trying for our first since April 2011
    BFP 10/4/2012. Due 6/11/13. M/C 11/3/12
    Diagnosed Hypothyroidism 9/4/13
    BFP #2 11/11/13 Due 7/24/14

    Yup, I definitely have. I think my shortest so far was 25 days, but most are 27. I've been off bcp since January so I've had a good amount of time to regulate. It seems as though I'm fairly regular now, but I definitely did experience shorter cycles off the pill.

    I had the opposite, 2 long(er) cycles (34) and then one very short (26) it does take many months before u level out... Im still waiting for that

    Yes- mine got shorter and shorter- 23 days being the shortest so far, one exception was a 31 day cycle which is long for me. Last cycle was back up to 26 again...and who knows this time around...
