Over saltinees already!

I'm already tired of saltines and the nausea is just becoming an all day thing. Wake up with it... have it all day. The only thing I'm happy about is I'm not actually vomiting... Although, sometimes I wish I would because I feel like it would make me feel better.

Anyone else feel this way already? Anyone else find a good substitute?

  • I prefer oyster crackers, but they taste pretty similar.
    Mommy to N (3), J (2), and C (10 months). LO4 is due in mid-September.

  • I don't have an answer but I do have the all day nausea. With DS, I would be sick throwing up all morning and then be fine the rest of the day. I think I prefer that to this all day crap. I can't get anything done.

  • I saw someone post on first-tri that the fruit popsicle help her greatly. Sounds pretty bad. Hope you find something to help soon.

  • Plain white rice helps me (my current favorite dinner) and popcorn.  I think Vernors is the best ginger ale.

  • I have the all day awfulness too Sad Just the nausea with no getting sick. It's so bad. I have so many food aversions I'm only eating a few things. I've found frozen things help...popsicles, slurpees, sherbet. Also hard candy helps alot. It keeps my mouth watering and for whatever reason that helps. I've been eating lifesavers but I think any hard candy that's slightly sour would work. I couldn't even talk without gagging and they really helped!

  • I have been feeling exactly the same way!! Nauseous all day...and saltines are getting old haha! I've been eating noodles a lot for my meals..with butter and parmesan cheese..I know they aren't healthy fruits and veggies...but they are the only thing that I want to eat because of the nausea!!

  • I just discovered preggie pops (at babys r us or walgreens) They actually cut out enough nausea to not be repulsed by food. They actually work, and slushies are a little helpful for me as well.
  • I have been eating pretzel sticks. They seem to do the same thing as crackers and taste a lot better IMO.

  • If I have to force down one more saltine I'm definitely going to lose it. I've had the all-day misery, too. I've thrown up a couple times and although there's a little immediate relief, it definitely doesn't get rid of it entirely. I was eating crackers the other morning at work and halfway through what felt like my thousandth cracker, I realized I couldn't swallow it and started gagging. Weirdly, fruit has been a decent substitute for me. I was feeling so bad yesterday and suddenly realized that a smoothie would be the answer to all my problems and OMG it was.
