First pregnancy

Hey hey! :) Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself.. This is my first (and possibly last) pregnancy. After trying for a long long time with the ex we adopted a boy and a girl. After the split I found someone else who wasn't in the market for kids of his own which was fine by me cause I couldn't anyways.. Well.. he loves to prove me wrong.. :)

Our due date is June 7th and I've already gained 20 lbs. :( Not sure why the weight is coming on so quickly but tests were done to check my thyroid which has been an issue in the past. 

It's nice to see a group of older moms.. I'm part of a few message boards and sometimes feel out of place. Thank for being here! :)

    I love to read a happy surprise story! Welcome and hope eveything goes well for you.  I gained a lot of weight with both of my pregnancies, but managed to lose most of it.

    I just realized I probably should have posted this in the pregnant after 35 group. I've been the mother of 2 adopted kiddo's for years now.. heh heh..
