Cars/trucks to zoom around
I've been going back and forth on adding more trucks/cars to Ryan's wishlist so maybe I can get some nestie thoughts and opinions :-)
Ryan got a tonka truck from my parents for his birthday and he loves it! Immediately he started zooming it around the hallway (it makes a nice circle ans is tile so its great for chasing, riding, zooming...). We ended up putting the Tonka truck + another Bruder one outside in the sand box where they enjoy lots of playtime from both kids. But I feel like he doesn't have an inside truck. Is it too much to get him another truck? Or just get him a different brand/type of truck? The Tonka one was metal and I know DH was prretty worried about it damaging the walls... Any recs for any indoor trucks/cars would be awesome! Thanks!

We have SO many trucks, it's ridiculous. My son loves trucks. He is 4.5 and has had them since he was about 2 and we have added to his collection every holiday it seems.
We have our outside set(tonka trucks, excavators, etc...) and then an inside set. For indoors, we have the Plan Toys ones. They have held up so well and I just like the look of them for inside better. Plus, they are smaller than the large tonka ones so I don't have huge trucks everywhere.

We have the excavator one too but I wouldn't recommend that one because it is hard to manipulate.
I'd definitely get him some inside trucks. My DS loves trucks/construction vehicles and has some for inside and outside. In addition to various other hotwheels and vehicles, he has a set of construction trucks for in the house, but I can't seem to find a link for them. They are smaller (maybe 6 in. long and 5 in. tall) so they fit in a toy bin all together. They are also plastic so I'm not too worried about walls or whatever. He is also getting the Bruder crane truck for Christmas, which I realize is 50x bigger than his current indoor trucks. He is way into cranes though, and this was the only crane toy that didn't have sucky reviews. He plays with his trucks all of the time and he's 5 now, so I think your DS will get plenty of usage out of some more for in the house.
