We're doing Elf on a Shelf.... but you have to admit  - the elf is kinda creepy.

    great.. now my kids can never have elf on a shelf because mommy is afraid of him.

    Hahaha! Funny you should post this. I told my friend and DH about this yesterday and they said Elf on a Shelf is basically a surveillance system. "He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake..." Whatever, I need all the help I can get these days!

    Read the bad reviews that people wrote on Amazon.com... some of them are pretty funny. 

    ETA: there are WAY more good reviews than bad reviews
